« Nothing More to Teach », the third track from Etienne Machine’s fully home-made recording session, is now available everywhere!

Nothing More to Teach” by Etienne Machine moves with the energy ofthe world it questions — rhythmic, catchy, and just a little too fast. Beneath its polished, pop-inflected surface lies a thoughtful critique of our hyper speed culture, unchecked capitalism, and the waste fulness of modern technology.

Etienne Machine uses sharp lyrics and clever musical contrasts to hold up a mirror to society—inviting us to dance while we reflect. It’s satirical, yes, but there’s something deeper pulsing underneath: a quiet call to slow down and see the cost of the pace we’ve embraced.

“Nothing More to Teach” takes an unexpected turn in Etienne Machine’s repertoire: you can hear post-punk influences reminiscent of Yard Act, with that sharp groove that gets you moving, while the more pop-driven chorus instantly sticks in your head. It’s the band’s way of exploring a more danceable, pop dimension without betraying their core identity. This track required special attention from the group to reach the final result you’re about to hear. From the blend of 80s-style synths and Julien’s custom-coded synths to the structural tweaks made after the recording session ended, much of the soul of “Nothing More to Teach” emerged during long-distance post-production sessions.

We truly hope this artistic detour resonates with you. It allowed us to stepout of our comfort zone and explore new creative paths — and we can’t wait to hear what you think of the result.
