SUPERVIVENXIA was written, composed, and primarily produced in 2024. Blending hybrid pop, experimental reggaeton, Latin music, and chanson, the five-track EP is a testament to Baby Volcano’s evolving artistry. Working from her countryside home studio between tours, she took full control of her sound.
This creative independence reflects her commitment to artistic exploration and remaining true to her musical roots.
In June 2023, she was invited to create a special show for BadBonn Kilbi Festival, assembling eight dancers and multiple collaborators. The experience culminated in a transformative moment during Marina Herlop’s performance:
“Listening to Marina, I was overwhelmed with emotion. It was as if I could feel her entire artistic journey in the music. That moment affirmed my desire to do this for the rest of my life: to stay true to myself, keep learning, and let my music evolve freely.”
Baby Volcano collaborated with Gaspar Narby as a sound engineer, who recorded vocals on all tracks and provided additional production on Kurakaku and Olor a Fogata. Robin Florent handled the mixing, and Magnus Lindberg took care of mastering.
