where can one still experience and express powerful emotions? enter the stage like you’d enter a club, in search of a liberating performance that engages body and mind in a symbiosis of movement, space, and people. boxing noise is set up as an experience where internal forces can be expressed in a public setting, bringing into play notions of group and individual, of power, support, and emotional and physical resistance. through a participatory sound performance with a suspended boxing bag that has been fitted with a microphone, a section of the public is invited to take part in the live act of performing a movement or a sound and of modulating a space between the inside and the outside. with a view to creating the safest possible training and playing space for everyone, boxing noise clearly stands in favour of values such as inclusive feminism and political antiracism. that is why we are actively looking for possible collaborations with local clubs that share the same values as us.
