Plastic artist turn singer as if by magic, Prune Carmen Diaz is releasing her debut album « Disobedience » on Humus Records: a powerful lo-fi-soul ode, a custom tailored orchestral outfit for her unique voice and straight forward lyrics. We first discovered this atypical, self-taught artist with her EP « December », that she toured in an intimate guitar-vocals format during a series of concerts that took her on a journey form small hidden clubs to prestigious Geneva’s Alhambra or the Montreux Jazz Festival. She then shortly slipped into the Louis Jucker & Band tour van as a backing vocalist. Four years after a patient, introspective studio work, she now returns with a new album and a new set, accompanied on stage by a full backing band
